Botrytis

Botrytis is a DIY doom, drone, post-metal collaboration between helo samo (helo samo, Morning Pages) and Caitlin Mkhasibe (Morning Pages). As a moody response to the anxiety, anguish and bleakness of world decay, i didn’t think i could be cursed, is a 6mins 40sec sound work featuring disgruntled guitar drones, distorted valiha with bow, pounding drums and percussion. The sound work reflects the feeling of a hex we all face that is ongoing disillusionment, trudging through a never-ending swamp of dismay. i didn’t think i could be cursed is accompanied by an artwork of the same title, created collaboratively using vegan acrylic paint on wood board.
