Rosemary Lombard
Rosemary is a Cape Town–based researcher, editor and sound maker. Her interests include archival and field recordings, communal improvisation, DIY and toy instruments, and decolonial approaches to listening.
Alongside freelance editorial work in cultural and environmental fields, Rosemary’s research centres on archives and the afterlives of historical collections.
As a founding member of SENSA, she is committed to creating accessible spaces where listening happens across disciplines, communities and traditions, sparking curiosity, dialogue and collective exploration.
